McDonald's in Singapore

McDonald's

There are more than 120 Mcdonald's outlets in Singapore.

No, we are not crazy to list a junk food restaurant and we are not doing it only to reassure heavy McDonald's users travelling to Singapore that they will be fine. There are at least three things about McDonald's in Singapore well worth mentioning and trying.

Chilli sauce

First, it's their marvellous free chilli sauce (this garlic version is only available in Singapore). Try just a little bit of the sauce with the burger in order to see how much of it is enough for your taste, as it can be very hot for people who are not used to hot and spicy food.

Spicy McChicken

Second, it's their Spicy McChicken, available only in Singapore (and, according to Wikipedia, in Saudi Arabia, but we haven't had an opportunity to check that fact on the spot). It's, well - very spicy and very addictive.

McFish

And third, the freshest McFish we've ever had was in Singapore.

Otherwise, McFlurry with Oreo is better than in Europe. Sundae with strawberry sauce is not bad either. McDonald's does breakfast too. Ham, egg, cheese muffins are cheap but don't expect to get first grade ham.

McDonald's outlets are scattered all around the island. Although the food quality should have been standard at all the outlets, we feel that the best McDonald's burgers are coming from the outlet in the basement 1 of Takashimaya Shopping Centre, Orchard road. Check their website for other locations although you don't really need to. You are never too far away from McDonalds's in Singapore. Web: www.mcdonalds.com.sg
