Il Terzo Cerchio offers one of the best home-made gnocchi in town. The quality seems to vary though. When we visited last time, the gnocchi were too hard.
House pizza was disappointing considering the fact that it enjoys the fame of the best pizza in Budapest, and it's rather expensive, too. The Italian wine list is extensive, except that we would appreciate more explanations about them. Italian-owned Il Terzo Cerchio is a popular hang out of Italian expats.

Magdalena Merlo whips out palatable Italian, Hungarian and some Czech dishes at inexpensive prices. Where else in Budapest can you get a good (and big!) pizza for less than HUF 1500?

Olíva Étterem és Pizzéria serves decent pizzas at decent prices. Sometimes each of us got a free shot of limoncello (yum!) and a few green olives; otherwise, the service is not particularly cheery.
