So where the bloody hell are you?

Tropical beach, Malaysia

'So where the bloody hell are you?' asks bikini-clad Australian babe at the end of the TV spot promoting Australia as a tourist destination.

The advertisement certainly is humorous in a way, however its humour insulted Brits to the point that they banned it in the UK. The word 'bloody' is obscene and should not be used in a tourism promotion ad, decided the Brits; despite they are the ones who exported this word to Australia with the first shipment of convicts back in 1788.

The TV spot is of course accessible on the Internet where it hasn't been seen only by the Brits but the whole world. And according to the representative of Australian tourism commission, the ban of the advertisement brought the amount of publicity they only wished for.

Well, bravo Australia! And if you haven't been down under yet, where the bloody hell are you?
